You may know of the term “Red Dwarf” from the weird old TV show, but maybe you gave also heard of the term applied to stars! In THAT case a red dwarf is a type of star much smaller than our sun but bigger then Jupiter, which burns its hydrogen dim and red.

Red dwarf stars are by far the most numerous stars in the universe! They are small and dim and everywhere, as they don’t take up too much space.

What do red dwarf stars have to do with us? Dwarves take care of us if we are being pursued by evil stepmothers. Perhaps you are being pursued by one! In THAT case, do not fear, for you can always escape to a faraway red dwarf.
