100 Minutes of Jupiter
This is an amazing piece of work. You can watch Jupiter rotate and see its moons spin round it in their orbits. The amateur astronomer who made this must have spent an insane amount of time working on assembling this imagery. OH WAIT HE DID:
For being such a large planet, and so far away, the view of Jupiter sure does change fast. The time lapse here covers about 100 minutes from 0100 to 0240 PDT on the morning of August 9, 2009. Each frame was constructed from 120s (about 1000 frames) of video.
